Like many of the reviewers, I was always under the impression Rico reeds are for beginners, not consistent from one reed to another and that they don't produce good sound quality. They're what i played until middle school (decades ago) when I switched to Royal reeds. Recently, I watched a YouTube review where the reviewer explained Rico and LaVoz reeds (historically played by many professionals) are the exact same reeds. I bought some Rico reeds and found no difference. Rico reeds are excellent reeds for all level players. They are among my favorites. I read Amazon reviews saying they don't last, are of poor quality, smell, do/don't produce a bad smell, etc. After playing dozens of reed brands over the years, I can say none of that it true. These reeds are top level reeds at a price way lower than what they could be. There's no down side to these reeds. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excelente calidad *by on Reviewed in Spain 23 January 2022* Justo lo que necesitaba para mi saxo tenor. Muy buena relación calidad precio. ## Frequently Bought Together - D'Addario Rico Tenor Saxophone Reeds, Strength 3, Pack of 10 - D’Addario Woodwinds - Rico Alto Sax Reeds - RJA1030 - Strength 3.0, 10-Pack - D'Addario Rico Bb Clarinet Reeds, Strength 3, Pack of 10 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/91893746-rico-by-daddario-rka1030-tenor-sax-reeds-strength-3-0](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/91893746-rico-by-daddario-rka1030-tenor-sax-reeds-strength-3-0) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
