Maybe because it’s a ‘tint’. I don’t notice a scent or a taste to it. If you like the ‘stain’ type lipstick, you’ll probably like this one. I prefer more of a gloss lipstick, so prob won’t get this again, but again, I do like the color. The trick is (when it stops and seems like there’s nothing) to twist it a little bit back in the opposite direction for it to un-stop, and then twist back in the correct direction to get it back to twisting again. You might have to do it back and forth like 4 or 5 times like I did (while pushing the foam tip) but the color eventually came out! But once the color arrives, it works.Terrible design but the lip stain itself I like:I like that this was a sheer pop of natural looking pink for the days when I want to not wear full makeup but have a flush of something natural so I look alive. Goes on a lil bit oily (which I like because its moisturizing and I have dry lips) and then pat off any shine for a nice moisturized pink stain. It lasted through my lunch fine without any touch up and stayed on for the rest of the day great.
