I can see a 2 year old loving this but needing help and even my soon to be 7 year old, also on the smaller side, was having a turn at it. it was not more than 2 hours and my birthday boy was putting it together on his own. The other twin prefers my little pony and musical instruments and such but even he had fun taking it apart! It has no noise or flashy lights. (which i love because i prefer more hands on toys where the imagination can take over) just a chunky great for little hands excavator(or other construction trucks optional) and the screwdriver is perfect for their hand size and it is fairly simple to screw and unscrew the toy. my only negative would have to be the screwdriver. it seems a bit flimsy but so far its holding steady. my boys play pretty rough and they have dropped the toy and tossed it and its holding up very nicely. my other twin now wants one but he likes dump trucks so we will be looking into getting a dump truck next! maybe for Christmas! great job on perfect size and multiple function toy for construction truck lovers and tool lovers!
