It is a Great choice for a beginner because it has a bump & a recess to match together to put the limbs on the handle in the correct direction ! There are also fine tuning screws where the limbs fit, but I haven't had to use them.Much lighter feeling than a metal riser ( handle ) bow. Ragim bows are wood, this one with a paint over the handle part.I have been asked where did I get my bow by other beginning archers when at the indoor archery range, which upsets the range owner who sells a different brand.I would have given it a Five Star but I noticed a flaw in the limbs of this one, but considering the price is Very Reasonable , and it is made in Italy ( NOT China like most other bows... some of those are plastic so look close in photos when comparing what to buy ), I can overlook a flaw that is not yet effecting my performance.Highly Recommend.
