The Sonder board is well made, and the grain is smooth and seams are matched beautifully. Love that one side has an area for bread or crackers, perfect for charcuterie's. I have been using the board for a few weeks and have washed with a soapy cloth and dry immediately. I have food grade oil to use in the board every 3 weeks per Sonders instructions. I purchased a board from another retailer and it was flimsy, made from walnut wood as well, but did not have the thickness nor beautiful wood grain I was looking for. The Sonder team is a small business and very communicative. I look forward to finding other boards from this brand!
