The mirror also has a touch on and off sensor for the lights. They thought of everything! The cord has a USB connection and is almost translucent so I can hide the cord easily. It has a sturdy aluminum frame and a metal base so I'm confident this will last me a lifetime! Great quality and I love that I can set the time on it. Sometimes I lose track of time when I'm beautifying myself. Its a perfect size for a vanity station.
