I was CONSTANTLY having to top them off, and eventually one of the batteries exploded while we were driving and that was the end of them. I bought a new set of batteries (of course) but didn't want to subject them to the old charger, now with the Lester I can set a charging profile that is tailored for the setup in my cart, and monitor the charge cycle to ensure things are working properly.The cart seems happy, the batteries seem healthy, and I haven't had to put one drop of water in the new set of batteries yet.The only "negative" is the amount of "assembly" needed before use. I won't dock a star because the only real issue was that I assumed it went together one way that seemed obvious... only to realize you're supposed to route the cable a different way, whoops!
