It does say otterbox on it, but it did not come in a package and had a barcode sticker on the back which left some residue on the case. Also, the screen protector was already scratched even though it was "new". Does not come with belt clip either, as It is not an otterbox and below the camera lens there is a gap where the rubber is not tight up against the plastic. If you don't mind those issues then I would recommend this case....if you want a new otterbox they are about $20 more on amazon. Not awful for the price, but definitely very deceiving in its picture and description, although that was probably intentional. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better Alternative to the Otterbox!!! *by D***A on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2014* This case was perfect! I ordered it to replace my Otterbox that was badly stretched out after 12 months of use. Unfortunately, Otterbox's warranty won't cover it after a year. I wanted the same protection but didn't want to pay the cost of another Otterbox. This product arrived and there were no defects in workmanship at all. When compared to my Otterbox, I think it actually had a better fit for my phone and the outer material is a little harder so it should take a harder hit if dropped. The color is great and it doesn't impair the phones service, or cause it to overheat and the access to the ports are great. It fits snug on the phone and it is very rugged. I have examined friend's OBox cases and it seems to be a darn close mimic of them. The belt clip did however break on me (as expected) at about 3 weeks when I forgot to turn the phone in the clip with the angle I was sitting. That was something I tried to keep in mind until the break. Now that it goes in my pocket dust and debris is accumulating under the attached, non-removable screen protector. This I need to remove and clean out weekly. Still, all things considered..
