It appears to fit the Akaso camera well, with a solid latch and gasket. I couldn't detect any scratches in the lens cover. Use 1: When used in the pool, I was regularly pressing the start/stop button for video, and after 15 minutes in the pool, a decent amount of water had leaked in, fortunately not enough to hurt the camera as I was able to open it up and dry it out. Use 2: The next day we went scuba diving, and with the pool experience in mind I decided to never press any buttons...just let it run. In this case, down to -30ft there was zero water leakage (yay). Use 3: We went swimming in a Cenote (underground cave) where there was limited light.
