I was hesitant because I am a plus size petite woman and at 5'0" 195 lbs., rarely do regular sizes fit me right and plus size is always too big. Based on other reviews indicating the forgiveness of the cut of this dress, I took a shot, and I am soooo glad I did! I got the XL, and it hugged all my curves just right. The sequin detail cut the dress where it should have accentuating my waistline. The fringes at the bottom were so fun on the dancefloor! Highly recommened. It fit perfect. It's not low cut but it's complementary to the chest because of the beading. Shows off the hips and butt as well. The thing to remember is it's a flapper dress and it's not complimentary to the waist area. The model shows a waist but it's straight down. I got so many compliments because most flapper dresses in this price range are grey, white and mostly black, everyone was wearing fringe. I was the only one with a dress with color and beads. Lots and lots of beads!!! Really a spectacular sight. It's a beautiful dress, well made, can wear it many times. I literally kept it balled up in a bag, no wrinkle, no maintenance! Don't bother with fancy stockings, or shoes, no one will notice them! I bought fishnets but no one noticed them. Just this dress. It's a knockout! I'll wear it again after I take in the waist, for New year's or a wedding. Oh, also very comfy!
