Plus, do not use metal utensils on a non stick surface and it will last.** A: the only difference that I can see is on the outside. The cover on this one is red and a detailed mickey on it, the stainless steel one is just stainless steel. I have had this for just a few weeks now and have used it a couple of times already. I am a huge Mickey fan so this is a huge hit for me. It worked great both times i've used it. I was excited by the Mickey pancakes, it brings back memories of being in Disneyland.
