Physical therapy helped some but the TEN's therapy gave me some real relief. I saw this little unit here at desertcart and decided to give it a try. It is TINY! When I opened the box I admit I was thinking it might be returned or be a waste of money. Not so! Popped those batteries in and assembled the unit in 30 seconds. It is powerful! Thought I'd probably need the full strength of the unit. Not so! At about one half the power of the unit I get the most pleasant pulsing, alternating, massaging sensation. I can attach the two electrodes to my upper back and hang the included lanyard around my neck and go about my business at home with sweet relief of my pain. I know that it's hard to believe but this little inexpensive unit gives me as much relief as the unit they used at the physical therapy/rehab clinic!! I found that attaching the electrodes was a real pain as it is difficult to attach them to the back properly. The last time I had used a TENS machine was for knee pain and as is obvious that is a much easier attachment. The attachment problem is not the fault of the machine, the low strength of machine is why I cannot give it 5 stars.
