This cuckoo clock has a plain but a very pretty Black Forest log house with a hand-carved roof, a fir tree and a water trough. The cuckoo calls on the hour according to the time and is followed by an echo and by one of 12 alternating melodies. A light sensor automatically turns off the cuckoo sound and the music at night, or they can be turned off anytime by means of a manual switch. The clock is personally signed at the back by the manufacturer Adolf Herr . His signature guarantees the experience of 7 generations of clock-workmanship. A: The clock has a light sensor, if the room gets dark, the cuckoo will not call. If it is bright, the cuckoo will call.

A: It is a quartz clock and works with batteries.

**Q: The cuckoo speaks 4 times at 0800. How can I synchronize the the cuckoo and the time?**
A: Pull the hour hand forward until it is loose. Slowly move the minute hand forward. As soon you hear the clock beginning to chime, immediately stop moving the Hand, and count how many times the cuckoo calls, move the hour hand on that hour and push it a Little bit towards the clock's face.

**Q: Clock ah22qm. why do i get extra cuckoo for every expected one?**
A: When the cuckoo calls there is an echo.
