A: All ST Dupont quartz lighters are made in China.  This includes the Defi, slim 7, Maxijet, minijet, mega jet and xxtreme.

A: You can use any premium Butane gas.  Here is one that works well:  Colibri Premium Butane Fuel Refill.  Try to avoid cheap inexpensive ones as the gas in it is not clean and it will affect the lifespan of the lighter
