The hair is soft and full and it's longer than I expected. The top of the piece is very thick and has some short pieces that needs to be plucked but overall I am very pleased with my purchase would highly recommend to anyone that's looking for a new piece and clueless about what to buy in regards to permed hair, it's not shiny it looks like our own hair after it has been washed and blown dried. I only complaint is that you have to roller set or use a holding spray to keep the curls like I always have to do with my own hair. I did was a flatiron it and it got straighter but still with texture which I love. I also took a hot comb to the part to get it sleek and flat. Overall i am very satisfied abd would recommend. This was exactly what I was looking for. I just cant get with the super silky straight look. The hair did shed just a bit but nothing major.
