The coloring is beautiful and the images are clear. There were no loose threads on the curtain. Beautiful doorway curtain! It had no smells when I removed it from the package. There were some wrinkles, but it pretty much smoothed itself out after a few days. The material is slightly thick like canvas, and it is not flimsy. The fit and length was perfect for my doorway. I have gotten compliments on the koi fish design! Beautiful Noren curtain, thick fabric and machine washable. I used it for a window curtain behind my Japanese soaking rub. It looks fabulous and you can't see through it so it provides more privacy
