The style is drapey enough that even if it was too big, it'd be ok. I have had success in the past with items like these and this fabric blend in the washer and dryer - so I took a chance and tossed it in a cold water wash. This item is so soft... and just came out of the dryer. I know this is a risk - once I washed it, I wouldn't be able to return if it came out of the dryer a mess, so don't try this at home unless you understand that. It did shrink a little as expected (which is why I sized way up) but now, I'm perfectly comfortable here on out tossing in a gentle cycle and drying on low if I needed to. I love this top. It's a great length - before and after my dryer experiment - hits about at my hips. Nice medium weight fabric, great color (charcoal) not thin or see-through at all. Back here to order other colors.
