They're dainty but feel quite tough, the engraving adds a nice classic touch, and they're easy to clean. I wouldn't serve fine wines in them as they're too open a shape to retain much aroma, and they can spill a little easily if filled more than ~3/4 but otherwise I can't fault them. Not sure why anyone would think these are wine glasses, they are advertised as cocktail glasses as used in the 1930's. They hold a good double martini and make a nice change from the standard cocktail glasses we now use. Good looking glasses.
