It's pretty much impossible to find organic cotton towels in stores, so I had to buy online. After buying 1 set of these to try out, I really liked them, because they are so thick and soft. I bought 3 more sets so I could retire our old towels. They were replacing towels that were over 25 years old and really getting thin. It is such a treat to use towels that are so thick and soft, after using old, thin towels for many years. However, I was disappointed to see a few of these new towels fraying at the edges after just several months of using them. My husband had to mend them (he is a whiz at mending things.) Our old towels did not start fraying until after > 10 years of use. So I am rather concerned about how durable these will be. I always wash them on the gentle cycle in the washer, as the label says. I don't know if they are fraying because we have an old agitator washer rather than the new style that is easier on clothing. (Our washing machine is > 35 years old but I'm afraid to buy a new one because the new ones only last 10-12 years.) So perhaps these towels would fare better in the new front-loader style of washer that is popular now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just received these towels and they are GREAT!!
