A: This is a very low-powered system. 12 gauge should be more than enough.

**Q: Will this if under the back seat of a 2010 chevy silverado crew cab**
A: It should,I have a 2005 extended cab Chevy and it fits under the back seat,I have a bench seat in the back and it fits perfect.  hope this helps

**Q: What size fuse is recommended if I am running 8ga power wire?**
A: The formula for power = amps * volts.  So if it uses 300 watts / 12 volts = 25 amps.  I'd start at 25 amp fuse.
