It does leave my hair with the tiniest bit of sheen, but not oily. I fix that with a light spritz of dry shampoo (honestly my best friend for hair maintenance). I only wash my hair maybe 2-3 times a week max. Dry shampoo gets me through the week! But I honestly like the Argan mask. I have a high dollar purple hydrating mask I got from the salon and they seem to work about the same! I think it depends on your hair and skin type, but like the feathery lightness this give my hair. **Q: can this product be used on relaxed hair** A: You can surely use it! I've been using it since I relaxed my hair and damaged it. I leave it on as long as I can; a day or even two and then wash it off. My hair was feeing so dry and like straw and also breaking. This treatment has it feeling like real hair again. I'm super happy with it. I'm going to keep using it because I need this damaged hair to be decent until my natural hair grows back.
