The are brighter than I expected. A few things I really like about these lighted cup holder pads:1) Simple/easy setup and install. No wiring, just charge them and drop into the cup holders. So far, mine have been operating on a single charge for over 2 weeks2) They work automatically, no need to mannually turn on/off. They come on in the dark, (that includes driving in a parking garage and/or under large overpasses) and the car must be running. If there is no vibration/movement they will not come on.3) The ability to change the light color, if and when I please. You can also change it to fade between the colors, or fade in and out of a single color.For how good they look (the dealership where I bought and service my car really likes them) and how they work, they are very inexpensive. Most other options cost around three times the price, then must be installed, usually by a professional because they are hard wired in.
