Review: One awesome product! - My family and I have been dependant on water bottles for years. I kept my 4 legged son (German Shepherd Dog) on bottled water until it wasn't financially feasible anymore. Switched him to tap water 2 years and back and it's been one problem after the other, hence my decision to finally invest in a water purifier. Initially this product was intended to cater him. End result? My entire family is going bottle free! The water tastes 100% different and just like bottled, if not better. It's unfortunate I didn't make the change sooner. Installation was straight forward and everything fit perfectly. The additional of a blade and pumbing tape ensured I only brought a drill, screwdriver and wrench to the table. Directions were clear, albeit the small workspace under my sink did make things difficult. That's more of a personal issue given my larger build. I emailed customer support with my order ID and request a 150% extension on warranty. They were very thankful for the purchase and extended warranty to 3 years. I further inquired about filter replacement and they responded in under 10 minutes. Apparently, it's 6 months to 2 years. Entirely dependant on quality of water (municipal/well/etc.) and quantity used. (obvious). Due to living in Southern California and having it connected the municipal line, we will adopt a 6 month schedule. Overall: Absolutely satisfied! Give it a shot. Huge bang for the buck, but do dedicate some time while installing it. I didn't have leaks, first try.
Review: Get an adapter if you have old 1/2" threads on supply. - Frizzlife Part Number MP99 Believe it or not, I went through four (4) different below $100 undersink filters. NEVER by a GE-branded filter in this class. They are poorly designed, will eventually leak, and are unforgiving wen installing. I know because when my ld GE filter failed, I ordered an new GE filter and it was crap. I am not a rookie at home plumbing or water filter installation. The Frizzlife filter reviewed hear (undersink with separate faucet) was a breeze to install and can be easily disassembled if after installation you want to change or clean up the routing of the pipes or the placement of the filter body. NOTE: If you have an older home that has a supply line that ends in the common 1/2" copper pipe threads, you will need an adapter because this system attaches to what are called '3/8" compression threads' (despite the fact that the connection is not a compression connection). This is common these days. Search for "Frizzlife Brass NPT Thread Pipe Fitting Converter - 1/2 to 3/8 inch" on desertcart if you need the adapter. You can also buy an adapter suitable for potable water at Lowes or Home Depot, but you have to know walking in exactly what you need. Either way, an adapter will cost you between $6 and $8 extra. This filter kit cam e well packaged, and all of the components appear to be quality components. One handy feature is that they supply a valve in the line going to the faucet for the filtered water. If for some reason you want to remove the filer or have a leak down that branch, you can just close the valve. All of the plastic hoses are retained by clips. If you remove those clips, you can take the hose out of the coupling and shorten or reroute it. The faucet itself is nicely made, looks good and functions well. We like having the separate faucet because our water quality is good enough that we only need filtered water for cooking and consumption. If I am washing my hand for ten minutes after doing auto repair, I don't need to use up the filter life for that. Filters are expensive, especially for some companies, but Frizzlife filter are less expensive and last a long time. So, this water filter update in my kitchen sink was something of an ordeal. If I had ordered the Frizzlife filter the first time, it would have been a piece of cake. I'm just a homeowner with no connections or affiliations with any company. I am simply very pleased with this product after searching for hours to choose the best option and going through two duds before finally receiving this Frizzlife undersink unit.

**Q: How often do you need to change the filter**
A: Hi dear customer,
The filtration capacity for Chlorine is 5000G, and filtration life for LEAD is 1000G, so the filter life can be 1-3 years depend on your daily usage and it can even be 3 years, but we won’t suggest you do the cartridge change that long. As you know the filtration performance is dropping gradually when time goes by, so the longer time you use, the less good water you get. The best time is 1 year or less, the filter cartridge maintenance is much cheaper than the other brands, so it will still save you a lot of money even you change often. Frizzlife suggest no matter what brand of water filtration you will get, do not use that for over 3 years not changing the cartridge, the performance of filtering will be very very low.

**Q: Just discovered I have pex piping.. How do I proceed?**
A: PEX is just a supply line.  It is an excellent product and would have no affect on using this filter system since all connections are made after the shut off valves under the sink.  Now if you choose to put a filter inline and not at the valve, then special PEX brass connectors will be needed along with a PEX tool for installation.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Choice, Great water!

I received this water filter a few days back. Nice packing. I have to say that I’m not a handyman, at first I have no clue how to connect. The instruction manual is very easy to read, but just in case of the wrong installation, I got it installed also with the help of a video that I found on YOUTUBE, turns out to be pretty easy. Nice valve, seems quite strong, so far no leaks which is great for my first experience on installation. I didn’t use the screws to attach the filter bracket to my sink plate, just put it there under the sink, I wouldn’t suggest you to mount with screws as well especially if you have a decent sink wooden plate. I think the hardest part for me on the installation as my sink doesn’t have the hole, so I would have to drill a hole for the faucet, by the way, the faucet looks just great, I love it. The manufacturer suggests to flush the water filter for 5 minutes, it’s way to long time for me, so I just flushed about 1-2 minutes, no black water compare to other brands that I used before from my last apartment which is pretty nice. The greatest thing for me is the water! The flow is quite large, and the taste IS JUST BRILLIANT!!! Highly Recommend!!!
