It’s machine-washable, which is good for home items like this. **Q: Is whipped cream the only solid color for this yarn?** A: I think so. I didn't see any other solid colors. I do like the yarn! I ordered in several of the other variegated colors and have made 2 knitted thin scarves.... turned out great! **Q: Is the yarn itchy? Thinking to use it for a headband.** A: This yarn is cottony soft. It's 50% cotton and 50% polyester and feels like a cotton/poly tee shirt. Should make a very nice headband. **Q: How many yards are in this skein?** A: The packaging says 392 yds per skein. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Soft *by T***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 July 2023* Great quality yarn and even though it’s cotton it’s great for garments as it’s soft ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely - but different colour. *by M***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 June 2022* Feels very soft and the shades are lovely......but just to manage your expectations the colour is VERY different. It doesn't matter to me but it's worth knowing. I'd still buy t again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely yarn, colours are not the same *by H***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 July 2021* Lovely yarn, surprisingly soft, however colours are not quite the same as the product being sold. The colours are much lighter, the red is pink and browns are actually caramel, which for me personally ended up by being a pleasant surprise. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/94390587-lion-brand-yarn-676-098-touch-of-merino-yarn-gardenia](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/94390587-lion-brand-yarn-676-098-touch-of-merino-yarn-gardenia) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
