Bear in mind, however, that although these are standard sized capsules, for this particular herb it's a very large dose. The therapeutic dose is 30 - 50 mgs per day because it is considered highly bioactive. Before being aware of this fact I had experience, on several occasions, with this herb, from this and a different manufacturer, in the larger dosage and found it overwhelming -- accelerated heart rate and other symptoms of overstimulation. No trip to the ER, but unpleasant and a deterrent to repeated use. If you are sensitive to medications I'd suggest opening the capsules and diluting the powder with a neutral excipient, or simply just pouring out a small fraction of the powder at any one time. Stretch your 60 capsules into 660.
