Review: Quick and easy armored look, needs a bit of DIY - Bought these for a last minute Renn Faire Costume, they were a decent price (considering the hardware included) and came prime so it seemed like a decent value. I do a lot of crafts and costuming so I knew if they came out looking plain I could make them work. I was pleasantly surprised with the product as it came, its a decently thick vinyl, with legit metal buckles. it fit well except for some gaping on the hand piece, and some overlap between the hand and the wrist that reduced wrist mobility. I ended up using scissors to trim the hand piece to fit my hands (they are fairly small) and free up the wrist where it was bunching. I also used some black oil paint to weather and add dimension to the gauntlets to make them look more realistic and give them some life. Overall I'd say they are pretty good, I'm fairly happy with how they turned out. If you are crunched on time, or not skilled with leather work then these will work well for your costuming needs.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fit well, great for RenFest!

I was a touch hesitant at first to purchase this product, considering that the few reviews that are out there cited that the bracers were more on the small side, but considering the price I decided to give it a try anyways. I can't say exactly how this would fit on the average man's arms/wrists, as I am a 5 foot 6 inch woman; HOWEVER with that in mind I would definitely say that this product was worth the buy. I bought the #1 Brown bracer with the two straps and was pleasantly surprised when they came in. They were a little stiff at first, but after wearing them to a six hour outing to a local RenFest plus an all day costume party at my workplace for Halloween they have developed a noticeable give so that it makes it a lot easier to bend the wrists than they were at first. The colors in the pictures is pretty accurate and I would say very close to what it looks like when you actually receive it. As for the size itself, I wore this with a LARP shirt that had more baggy sleeves than the ones pictured in the photos, so I had a little bit of "packing" so to speak between my skin and the bracers. Even so, I was able to buckle them up nice and firmly with little to no moving around through the day, the buckle at the wrist I was able to fasten at the third to last hole in the strap, and the buckle on the forearm closest to the elbow I was able to buckle to the second to last hole in the strap. Overall I would say that I'm very pleased with this product, but I would definitely recommend that others measure their arms and compare it to the size chart in the last photos for the #1 Brown. Speaking from the perspective of a woman with a medium/heavy figure these bracers were perfect and suited my needs wonderfully.
