Review: Cornhole, anyone? I got your cornhole right here. - Cornhole?? Really? Who thought of this name? My buddies and I had fun just with the name for days (cornholin; imma cornhole you up; i "heart" cornhole). I had only played this game once for a few minutes at a tailgate party years ago and didn't think all that much of it, but upon further review... this game is seriously addicting, esp in the right environmental and with beer. I searched for a while for a set before finally deciding on this one for a camping trip to Yosemite. Learned so much in the process - like the fact that this one is "regulation size" and that there is such a thing as the ACA (yup, American Cornhole Association) - and that these things can get pretty pricy. After playing on this one, I sure am glad I didn't cut costs by getting a smaller, cheaper one for about $60-$75. Regulation size is the way to go, because points are scored not only for cornholes, but also if the bag stays on the board - and with a 3 foot long board or smaller (like most of the mini sets are), I imagine it would be almost impossible for the bean bags to stay on the board. The bags slide on these too, but with the proper toss they will stay on the board and do so frequently. To me, the fact that it is slippery makes the game more challenging, as t makes scoring points is more difficult and knocking opponents bags off also becomes a bigger part of the game as well. These boards also bounce a bit, but not so bad that it affects gameplay (the playing surface plays a role on that too). Some have complained about the rim around the cornhole, but to me no impact there either. When I first opened it up, one of the hinges was dented - likely from transport - so I couldn't open up one of the boards without first hammering the metal hinge back up to a straightened position. This only took 5 minutes though so I'm not going to deduct for this, but I imagine that's why this product is currently "under review" by desertcart, because of the shipping/packaging. Regardless, I highly recommend this kit, and I'm so glad I got it. We played it for hours at our campsite and our neighbors would often stop by to watch cause we were having so much damn fun, some of whom were foreigners and would just stare for long periods trying to figure out why we were enjoying ourselves so much... but that just made us feel like star athletes. The next day we set it up by the a river and played for a few more hours - addicting I tell you - so they are easy to transport, albeit large. Oh the bean bags were of good quality too, well made with good heft. Next year, I'm gonna find a way to lug these to the top of Half Dome and cornhole up there! On second thought... maybe not, but that would be the ultimate cornhole venue.
Review: Heavier than I expected, but solid quality and seamless to set up. - We were shipping a GoSports wooden cornhole game to our events and it was costing a fortune due to the dimensional weight of a set of full sized cornhole boards. The old one got damaged in transit and needed to be replaced. I saw this one and liked the idea of it being foldable since it will cost less to ship and be less likely to get damaged than a wood and pressboard set. I was a bit surprised at how heavy this thing is, but it's also more durable and solidly built. Being aluminum, it's less susceptible to rain or dirt, and the weight does end up keeping it planted in place better than the lighter versions. Once it's unfolded into place, it looks like a one piece board and the design is interesting. I didn't get the lighted one as that'll just add to the complexity, but we don't use it in the dark anyway:-). I think this one will last a lot longer than the old ones and the more compact folding design saves space both in shipping, and in storage. A little pricey, but also very beefy.

**Q: Everywhere I can find says regulation board is 2'x4' and this board is 2'x 3' that makes a huge difference. How can  this be regulation size**
A: The boards are NOT exactly 2'x4', but are still considered Regulation Size by the ACO.ACO Approved Equipment Specs:Hardwood plywood playing surface measuring 47.5" to 48" x 23.5" to 24".The playing surface has a minimum thickness of 5/8" with cross-section backing, or 3/4" with or without cross-section backing.Each Board in a set should weigh no less than 25 lbs.Each hole is 6" diameter, centered 9" from the top of the board and 12" from each side edge.The front of the board is 3" to 4" from the ground to the top of the playing surface.The back of the board is 12" from the ground to the top of the playing surface.The playing surface should be finished - sanded to a very smooth texture. There should be little to no blemishes in the wood surface that may disrupt or distort play.The playing surface can be painted with a high gloss latex paint or varnish. The surface should allow bags to slide when thrown, but not be so slippery that the bags slide back down the platform.Each bag is made from two fabric squares with double-stitched seaming. **Q: Does anyone have an idea of how the boards do in a parking lot for tailgating?  Does it bounce and/or move alot?**
A: They are fine with the bags that come with it.  If you try to use 1 pound bags they bounce off good.  This is a perfect set for tailgating.  Beats the hassle of dragging a heavy wood set.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality, easy to transport and store

Excellent quality product and loads of fun to play! This set is particularly nice as it folds up for easy storage and transportation, and made out of aluminum so it's lighter than wood versions and also not harmed if it gets damp on wet grass or due to mist / rain while playing. The two negatives to consider with this set are: 1) There is a lot of "bounce" in this board, as the board gives a bit when a cornhole bag lands on it, causing the bag to bounce more than would occur on a typical wooden board with 1/2" plywood. 2) The cornhole holes in the boards have a piece of trim in/around them which creates a small lip around the hole (perhaps 1/16" high)- this can catch the cornhole bags and prevent the bag from falling in the hole, making 3-point scores a bit more difficult. Overall, this is a great set to pack up for travel, tailgating, etc, but not quite tournament level quality
