Admittedly, I thought this was the grainy style of frosting film where the opaqueness comes from the rough texture as opposed to a colour. I’ve used this style before and really liked the look. This is a flat, milky white however.Nonetheless, it does the job well. The film stops the ability to look in or out without effecting the level of light coming into the room.Note that the instructions aren’t lying when they say the film needs time to ‘dry out’. After about 24 hours, the film looked really blotchy (see photo) but after a few more days, it was flawless. Additionally, the instructions call for a 3mm gap around the perimeter of the film. Personally, I went for something a little wider as it makes it super easy to squeegee the water out.Either way, take your time with the application and you can obtain a really tidy finish. ### ⭐ Nightmare. Product went on easily and very well, and when we’d finished, it looked really good and I was pleased with the product.... but less than 24 hours later, all the frosting started peeling off the windows. Reapplied the product to the windows as advised, but the following day the same thing happened, it started coming away from the windows. A week later and I’m still battling with the stuff peeling off despite applying and reapplying exactly as the instructions as advised and it’s very frustrating.Very dissapointed with this product, I wouldn’t recommend it and I won’t be buying it again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job! But buy some spare! *by T***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 July 2020* I accidentally ordered the frosted because Amazon pushed it as a cheaper item and was hard to see this difference in the product images as they are more situ based, rather than focussing on the product type. The instructions state to read them before un-packing the product, yet the instructions are wrapped up inside the middle of the product, therefore using only common sense, this is impossible! C'mon! They would be much better off printing a QR code or at least a link on where to watch their videos that make the understanding much more simple than the mass of text enclosed in parcel. Without the video, it would have ALL GONE WRONG! Research, check tools and clean before install! Plus, I had to rate ''sheerness'' as low because nobody (including Google) seems to know what this word means for definate! Lot's of over complicating from this company, they could EASILY make their products better for their customers in minutes by just adjusting their installation manual and advertising images. Other than these small issue's I would definately recommend their product to family or friends, but would definately explain the installation process better if I had recommended this.
