I bought it to be a receiver for our video monitor and it runs perfectly on it. I have not experienced any lag issues, but I initially deleted all of the pre-loaded apps that I could since it's main purpose is connecting to the monitor. The one drawback I have noticed is that the screen is glossy and has a bad glare and the brightness is very low, even on the highest setting.
