I just received my red coolant and don’t have any case mounted UV lights, yet. I just tried it with an LED “black light” bulb we bought for Halloween. I can say that overall, this bulb did not light up the room like other standard black light bulbs (I’ve owned mini Fluorescent tube type bulbs in the past that did way better). With that being said, I had to bring the light within a few inches to really get the glowing effect. So even though an LED “Blacklight” party bulb might not be the best UV experience, I would think it would not need to be within a few inches to really make it glow. I would agree with the other person that answered and say it’s medium reactive. Also, keep in mind that any liquid the has fluorescence is going to turn opaque. It will pretty much look like a solid colored hose. After seeing mine for the first time it was a bit of a let down. It looks much better as a semi clear liquid, than the glowing solid tubing effect. Of course if you can control the UV light source than it can be used as an effect. It would be cool if when the computer heats up the UV lights flash. This would cause the coolant lines to flash from solid glowing colors to clear liquid. **Q: This works with FLX plastics?** A: Unless the pump you're using explicity states that it takes the liquid, I wouldn't chance it.
