I really like these half readers, first off. I need them for work and I walk around a lot but also need to read at times. These help me in that I can see distance and also use peripheral vision around me. I have a big head so they fit small, though that works out well for me. They are in my sweet spot for reading, yet allow for distance and peripheral viewing. Regular full-size reading glasses blur my vision all over, so I trip a lot or have to take them off. These, I can keep on and avoid tripping, if needed.The frames are a bit delicate but I like the wire ear pieces, as they are somewhat adjustable. The plastic part can be pulled out a bit and slightly bent to grab behind the ears. Careful if you do this, as the end cap ear piece plastic can come all the way off and requires a bit of finagling to get back on.This is my second set. First set I lost one pair and the other one's arm eventually broke. To be fair, I do keep them in my pocket when I don't need them at all and my job is a bit phisical in a distribution center setting.However, the recent set I purchased had one pair with a bent arm and the nose pieces where out of whack and upside down. I had to carefully bend them back into shape, worrying weather or not I might break the fragile metal at the attachment points. It would be nice to have them shipped in a small box instead of a bag. Partially Amazon's fault, but the manufacturer should reconsider replacing their own plastic bag with a box of sorts. Less plastic, too and slightly better for the environment that way.All in all, they work great! The optics are superior for inexpensive readers.
