It's thick but not so much so that it weighs down my hair. A little definitely goes a long way on my hair so I look forward to how long this bottle will last! The fragrance free option is great and naturally smells like a nutty butter, which my gf with eczema loves. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because when I first got the bottle I was unable to get any product out of the pump. I had to cut about 2 inches of tubing off inside the bottle in order for the pump to work correctly. This is truly fragrance free. But it's wrong for my hair type. The conditioner is thick and sticky like thick jelly and it definitely does not define my waves. It does not define finger curls either for me. I have really long thick hair but it's fine. It waves when wet and tends to go straighter when dry. This product kind of 'glued' my hair together instead of making it not fuzzy and made it go really straight when it dried.
