The burning / stinging is explained as micro abrasions in the skin due to atrophy which are unhealed (they can't heal as the skin is dry and cracks). With use of Hyalofemme, it gives the skin a chance to heal and as it does so the burn / sting sensation has gone. The skin finally heals and the atrophy begins to be resolved by the hyaluronic acid in the gel.
