I apply it whenI go to bed. I may use it during the day if I have an exceptionally dry day. Over time, it does stain your panty but it's worth it. Consistent usage makes a difference. By that I mean that there are areas where you might feel sore if you don't completely apply it. I think it is reasonably priced which is also why I like it. If it were more costly I don't think I could afford to use it appropriately. I would definitely give it a try. It takes a couple of days to see how well it helps with dryness. That's because once you get dry, it's almost like a wound that takes time to recover. I also think it helps as an alternative to a hormone cream which has risk for those who have had cancer. Doctors will say differently about the risks with hormone cream, but why add any risk.
