Designed with durable rubber the seal remains flexible in extreme temperatures. Nails or screws can be used to secure the seal to the bottom of the garage door. Before installation, cut to desired length using scissors. From the Manufacturer Rubber garage door bottom that stops cold air, dust, leaves and moisture from blowing under your garage door. It will also extend the life of your door by providing a shock-absorbing cushion when it is closed. The special design helps keep water away from your door.

**Q: how high is the vertical section between the door and the floor?**
A: The angled section ends about 5/8" below the bottom of the door.

**Q: I need more of the black "washers", but I can't seem to find any for #6 self-drilling screws that fit like these do?**
A: I don't know where you can get more washers but this is what I did. I used five washers from the old molding. You probably  can get washers from Home Depot. When the door is closed you can't really see the washers so it wasn't a problem for me. This is a great garage door sealer and easy to install. I hope this helps.

**Q: I have a metal garage door that has a bolt on bottom weather strip that is shot do you have a reasonibly priced replacement?**
A: You can use this on a metal garage door--we did, and it worked perfectly. You have to use self-tapping metal screws instead of the wood nails that are included. Capri Tools 10024 Hex Self Tapping Screw Assortment, 200-Piece, here on Amazon. The washers that come with this weather strip fit perfectly. This weather strip is just wonderful, and fits perfectly! It keeps out bugs, small animals, and the grass that the landscapers try to blow under our garage door after mowing!

**Q: Does anyone know what size sheet metal screws I need to order?**
A: The product camevwith nails. You do not need to order screws.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good looking replacement and a proper kit.

This M-D Building Products 03723 9 ft. Black Rubber Garage Door Bottom Seal was a good replacement for my worn out (as in torn up) garage door bottom seal. The seal itself is just a tad longer than 9 feet, so it is perfect for a 9 ft. door. The installation was easy, in particular, because it comes with the nails and plastic washers needed to attach the rubber strip to your garage door. One recommendation to the manufacturer would be to increase the nail/washer count by one so that the distance between nails is an easy 6 inches, and not some odd amount.
