This is a beautiful shade at a good price. Purchased 29” width for a powder room window. It’s good quality and extremely easy to install. As you can see from the photo it is somewhat opaque. I live in the city and we are close to our neighbors but I believe this provides enough privacy. Just wish for smaller windows like mine the length could be a little shorter (these cannot be cut down) but that would mean I’d have to go custom and pay almost four times more. In the end I’m happy with this shade and plan to buy a couple more for my kitchen.

I got this hoping to keep heat and light out of a living room with an eastern facing window that blows up with sun during sunrise and it’s in Florida where it’s very hot. This does block heat.. and it keeps the room dark, so great functionality there. You can see the square of light through the blinds - that’s why I say it’s not black out or anything. That being said, the ease of install on this, the quality of the materials, and keeping the heat and most light out - I give it 5 stars and I want more of them. If you are like me and hanging blinds yourself - these are about as easy as you can get.

Even though I'm returning this shade, I wanted to leave a good review for it. I got it to try in my bedroom, and I found that it let in more light than I wanted. (See above; those are photos with the sun hitting that window.) This shade was really heavy, in a good way; the material was really solid and high-quality. I regret I didn't take a pic of it at night to show how it looks without light coming through it, but it looked REALLY nice. It's a cordless lift mechanism, and I'm kind of wary of those, because I've had bad experiences with ones that become lopsided. The mechanism for this shade felt much more sturdy than others I've tried. In fact, it was a little stiff to put up and down (especially to put down, I found I needed 2 hands to pull it evenly; I mean, I think you CAN put it down with just one hand, I just was being very careful with it and used 2). It didn't feel like it would break as easily as some cordless shades do. Overall, I just really liked this product, and it's a shame about the amount of light it let in, because it was otherwise perfect. But I'm definitely going to consider this brand for a different room where that doesn't matter.

I was looking for a very specific style of blind for our living room that was affordable but still high quality. This is exactly what I was looking for. Our house is very old so our windows are all wonky sizes so I was elated when I saw they had the sizes to fit our windows. Affordable, easy to install, fast shipping, and they look amazing! You’d be doing yourself a disservice by not buying these.

Overall, I really like the style, color and design of these bamboo shades. They feel durable and the size is accurate, it was a perfect fit for my needs. Material wise, the shade is made from quality bamboo. I also like the idea of no cords. It gives it a much more clean look; very versatile. They also do a nice job at blocking light. Not blackout by any means , but a nice way to darken any room. The reason I removed one star is for the extremely cheap screws I got. Without applying much pressure, the head of 3 different screws snapped off when I was just trying to install the hardware. I ended up using some spare screws I had laying around, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. Other than the screws, everything else about the shades I love. And I definitely recommend getting some if you’re on the fence.

10/10 for these shades! They look great and the price is so good! sizing is accurate and they provide a great amount of privacy while allowing some light to shine through. Color is great as well.

I bought these for my kitchen and I love them. They’re not blackout so I wouldn’t say they offer a ton of privacy if that’s what you’re looking for, but I’m happy with the amount of coverage they give. Nice quality and seem durable. They’re really easy to install and pull down/push up easy as well. The color is definitely a chocolatey brown, so if you’re looking for a lighter shade I’d pick something else?

I have been looking for years for the perfect Roman shades for my living room. This are perfect! Quality is great!

Exactly as described excellent product

I immediately was impressed by the quality of the materials and the construction. Vanes are precisely cut and milled; mounting holes are smoothly drilled and slotted as though by a DNC machine. The company must have a good quality control department as everything was perfect - no split or broken vanes. Wish they offered a wider range of sizes; also a manual cord roll-up design (auto works fine, just a personal preference).
