So figure somewhere around 25 cups total from 6 lbs. This is NOT precise...but consistent enough over time to be a reasonable indicator. **Q: What does "helps reduce your dog's energy intake by 15%" mean? looking for a high fiber food for a 3 year old dog but i don't want him lacking energy.** A: This diet is a higher fiber food, and that can make them feel fuller for longer, reducing additional food intake. **Q: Going from royal canin golden retriever to royal canin weight care do i need to transition as usual, i.e. 7 days?** A: We recommend a 7-10 day transition ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You want big kibbles, this is it. *by on Reviewed in the United States May 27, 2026* You want big kibbles, this is it. Great for my two older big dogs.Sometimes if I run out early and get them cheap stuff for a few days, they're not happy at all. It's a bit pricey but well worth it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Need for weight loss *by on Reviewed in the United States September 3, 2025* UPDATE: Well, turns out my lab loves it. He also lost weight on it! I add vegetables to his kibble too because he loves them. No doubt, the food is expensive. I tried another weight management kibble and found out that his weight loss stopped, so I'm going to order another bag of this kibble.____________________________I purchased this because my lab needs to lose some weight. I've tired many was (1 w/Amazon and 1/Chewy) - they shipped before I could cancel one. My lab does not gobble this up. In fact, he only eats a small portion at a time especially when he knows I will not substitute it for something else. Product is expensive. Shipped fast and well packaged. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reliable everyday dogfood for my lab *by on Reviewed in the United States October 14, 2015* There's nothing particularly amazing about this dogfood, but it is quite good. My dog doesn't love it, but then again it's the only food I've found (after trying literally dozens of the most expensive options) that she can eat reliably, bag after bag after bag, without either getting sick or refusing to eat it. She has a sensitive tummy, and tends to develop reactions of one sort or another to most other brands.I don't know that this food is particularly good for her coat, but she's a lab and has never had any weight issues on it. As a bonus and likely TMI for an Amazon review, with this food her poops are quite firm and regular. Easy to pickup and bag, nearly everytime. ## Frequently Bought Together - Royal Canin Large Weight Care Adult Dry Dog Food for Large Breeds, 30 lb bag - Royal Canin Large Breed Adult Dry Dog Food, 30 lb Bag - Royal Canin Size Health Nutrition Dry Large Breed Puppy Food, Supports Brain Development, Immune Support and Digestive Health, 30 lb Bag --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/9673302-canine-care-nutrition-large-weight-care-adult-dry-dog-food](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/9673302-canine-care-nutrition-large-weight-care-adult-dry-dog-food) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
