**Q: If a mat is a little too big in one dimension, can it be trimmed?  Will it fall apart/unravel if cut beyond the rubber edge?**
A: These mats can be cut with a sharp razor (utility) blade and a straight edge for a clean cut.  These mats will not unravel/come apart if cut to fit in a particular area.  (You would lose the vinyl edging where the mat is out, of course).

**Q: My mat arrived rolled in a box.  The edges are not flat.  Will it straighten out?**
A: Allow the mat to lay on the floor, the vinyl should relax and lay flat.

**Q: Is this mat suitable for outdoor entrance use?**
A: Yes, this mat can be placed outdoors and it will not be affected negatively by rain/snow/sun exposure.  If, however, the mat is not under an awning/covering and there's substantial rain, the mat will, of course, get wet and need to air dry.
