What used to take her 1min to do, now takes her almost 10min. She was one of those dogs who ate like she had never been fed before and always had gas problems because of it. That's all in the past now! It worked for us, but I'd like to see bigger sturdier versions of this in the future, because I cant imagine this working out for dogs over 50lbs. In the end you have nothing to lose; at the very least you gain a slow feeding plate. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ NO MORE “CATITUDE”! *by B***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2019* First of all, the seller included an extra screw for assembling the wheel and an extra height-adjustment screw—probably in response to buyer feedback.I had to laugh when my scarf-and-barf cat first saw her feeder. I spun the food wheel several times to show her how to get her kibble to fall out. She looked at me as if I had lost my mind. Even as hungry as she was (she’s always hungry!), she walked away and refused to eat. After awhile I took the wheel off and shook all the kibble out into the maze-like tray. I showed her how to dig the kibble out, and she did eat. That was about 4 days ago. She now eats out of the tray with no more “catitude”—still without the wheel. Someday I might try the wheel again . . . . BTW, I put the tray on a mat, so there’s no mess. Also, my cat is declawed; has fairly large paws (She’s a Bengal/tiger mix.); and no longer scarfs and barfs. I like the feeder, but I might have been just as well off to buy just a maze tray without the wheel. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Off to a good start with the pup - and good customer service! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 6, 2019* I have been looking for a few food puzzles because I intend to always have my new rescue pup be learning and working for his food. We have tried a couple puzzles, and it ususally takes him 3 or 4 meals to really catch on and get good at one. This feeder seems promising - it was easy for me to assemble, wash, dry, and fill with kibble. The pup caught on to nosing the pieces out of the bottom "maze" and walking from one side to the other when he could not reach them, but I had to show him about turning the tube to make the kibbles drop. However, after that first meal, I placed the unit on the kitchen counter and accidentally knocked it off onto the floor -- the grey screws that hold the tube in place both broke off. It did come with a replacement screw, but I needed two. When I contacted the seller to see if I could get another replacement screw, they promptly replied that they don't have extra replacement screws in stock but offered to send a whole new unit if I would write a review. I think that's more than fair! When I receive the new one, I'll be more careful not to drop it.
