The last product I bought was more expensive and didn't help my back pain at all. This particular support doesn't seem too bulky to me, it's firm and doesn't seem to let me "sink" into it which provides good support, and doesn't have the annoying "scoop" sues on it which really bothered me on the last product I bought. I use it in my Escape and it fits fine around the seat using the strap; however it does slide up and down and to the sides when I move around (getting in and out of my vehicle) so in have to adjust it frequently...but that is going to happen with any product as such, not too bothersome. I drive an hour to work one way and this has helped tremendously with my lower back pain. Would recommend. I had to change my work station as I was getting neck and right arm pain and stiffness and bent forward slightly. Found out I had bad posture, this helped plus I sit up strait, tuck my chin back, and made sure my mouse was not reaching forward like before. This product and doing the above list definitely working, as I have better posture, and less pain. It is not a thick cushion though, like the ones that come with the big office chairs and its more like the thickness of a throw pillow for a couch. if you are trying to close the distance between your back and the back of your chair, this will not do the trick.
