I'm so glad I found the Kitchen Haven Utensils set. Spatulas are soft but have a firm core in the handle which extends partway into the spatula. This makes it easy to frost cakes and spread condiments. The smallest spatula isperfect for spreading condiments. The wisk was in two parts when it arrived but a little glue fixed it and I haven't had any problems. I bought these for the camper but I'm going to buy another set for the house. While all have reinforced handles, the spatulas bend so much that they're not of much use other than for scraping liquids out of a bowl. They won't scrape cookie dough, for instance. I tried to use the smaller one to measure out shortening into a tablespoon, but it just didn't have the strength to do a decent job.
