I'm always leery about ordering a product that doesn't come directly from Amazon (Prime), but I am so glad I did! 1. This bag is the perfect size, it holds my ipad mini (in an otterbox case), my wallet, a medium size tube of lotion, isotoner winter gloves, and a medium sized make-up bag with room to spare, and yet it's not bulky. 2. The cross body strap is roughly an inch and a half wide, with a slightly curved and somewhat wider leather and canvas shoulder pad, and the strap length is adjustable from both ends so when adjusting the length the shoulder pad will still sit at your shoulder. Fully extended it measures 53". I'm 5'71/2" I wear it adjusted to 47" it falls just below my hip. 3. The leather, hardware, and canvas used to craft this bag are of the highest quality, there were no corners cut to make this product 4. I ordered the "army green" color and it is a nice earthy mix of green thick,but not stiff, canvas and thick, soft dark brown leather. 5. There are four outside pockets, two snap in front, and two with a leather strap and buckle closure on the sides. Perfect for iPhone (also in an otterbox case), keys, Chapstick , anything you want to keep handy. To sum it up, if I would've order a custom made bag it wouldn't be as wonderful as this, because I could never imagine something so absolutely perfect for me! I'm not the kind of girl that needs a purse in every color, or one to match my shoes, not that there's anything wrong with that, but I'm more utilitarian. When I purchase something, boots, coats, bags they become an extension of me and they need to be made of quality materials and stand up to everyday use for years. And I don't mind paying a little more for that because you save money in the long run by not having to replace things every year. I payed less than 50 dollars for this bag and I can see easily getting five years use from it and probably longer. Only one left when I ordered. Got it. I hope they make more though because other folks would like it too. Great for running around town or chasing zombies. Lots of room inside, lots of pockets on the outside and under the flap. The buckles have quick magnets which make it easy to close. Zippered interior keeps all my stuff safe. Great bag, very soft and comfortable. The wide strap distrubutes the weight of my junk inside and I love, love love it. I carry lots of stuff in it and it will hold more if I need to.UPDATE to my original review. I've had this bag for about 10 months now and it is holding up very well. I did have to replace the zipper though as I wore it out. I was able to take off the original zipper which was a heavy duty zipper, but I wore it out opening and closing the zipper several times a day when shopping. Replacing it was easy and I was able to sew a new one on after taking off the original zipper. The bag itself still looks real good and all the snaps work and I still love love love it. This bag is everything I expected except for the size. I am a 5'6" Asian, slim built. I wanted a small bag to carry my point and shoot camera and a few accessories around town. Most messenger bags are 15" which looks ridiculously large on me. I know it looks good on Will Smith but he's 6'2".When I saw this bag listed the dimensions as 12.2" x 11.4" x 4.3" (31 cm x 29 cm x 11 cm). I purchased it. This bag is actually much bigger. The actual measurements are 14" wide x 14.5 high x 4.5" thick (not counting the outside pockets). Inside dimension is also 14" wide. By the way, there is an inside zipper pocket which is only 5" deep and 6" wide, so you know.I was disappointed with the size of this bag but I do love the color (which looks exactly like the photo). Also love the construction, the material and the design. Just wish Amazon will correct the dimension listed on their website.
