How do you give the two transmitters different rings?** A: After searching all over I found out how to do this, to make it easier get someone to help you if you've got two transmitters (front and backdoor doorbell buttons let's say) already attached to the walls. 1st. If you've got multiple receivers make sure you can hear them clearly, I plugged mine all in in the same room I was in. 2nd. Ask the other person to press the first door doorbell every two seconds whilst you remain in the room with the receivers so they all chime at the same time, use the chime select button on the first receiver to pick the chime straight after the other person presses the doorbell, do this until you get to the chime you want. At this point one receiver will be chiming the chime you want and the others won't, repeat this process on each receiver until all of them are chiming the same chime. All the receivers are now programmed to chime that chime for that doorbell. 3rd. Ask the other person to go to the second doorbell button and repeat the whole of step 2 again but this time select the different chime you want to use for that doorbell. 4th. Now you test each doorbell, each one should chime a different chime from the same receivers. 5th. Be happy you can tell which doorbell is pressed from the chime that chimes! **Q: We live in a country area with quite frequent power cuts and blips.
