I didn't at first because I though this GOLD color was a bit loud. I encouraged him to get a blue or red pair instead. He held fast and I finally got them for his birthday. I love them!! They are no too flashy at all. Easy to charge with the USB port that came with the shoes. He is very happy with his golden shoes ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cute shoes *by P***S on May 11, 2018* I returned the first pair because one would not charge. The replacement pair charges and are super cute. These were a gif to wear to sporting events. I already have a different pair. Mine will stay charged and lit for the entire game (about 3 hours) these do not. They die by the third quarter. The light up laces are useless, the don't light up like in the picture at all and they also don't function as shoelaces. Overall, for the price I paid, I got what I expected.
