I bought it, because I wanted something water based, that would run more than just 1 hour. I was surprised whenever I received it, because it was so well made. The top part looks like plastic, but it is not - it is a heavy stone-like material - the inner parts are made of plastic, but all diffusers that I came across are made that way.It distributes the aroma in the room very nicely and you also have the option to let it run with the night light or you can turn it off.It is also very quite, which I cannot say about the aroma ace. I just hear a little water trickling here and there and that is actually quite soothing. It is easy to clean as well, which is a big plus!I bought both the black and the white one because I just fell in love ;)The only part that I do not like is where the plug goes in.. you have to have light to be able to find the tiny socket on the bottom of the diffuser.. would have been nice, if it plugged in on the back instead, but that is really the only downfall that I can see. I know Vitamix and such companies go above and beyond to ameliorate glitches in distribution...hopefully Toast might prove the same...?Either way, insight about the water stopper is much appreciated.UPDATE 1/8/15: After sourcing a water stopper elsewhere (thanks seller for not caring to assist or suggest places ot find such things!) and steadily using the diffuser (with all different oils and on the various settings), I have to say this is a huge disappointment.Unless you stand over the diffuser, the aroma is hardly noticeable. I live in a petite manhattan studio--so don't believe the reviews that the diffuser will cover larger spaces (unless you have a few).
