Replacement part for 2.7L engine 2007 Chrysler 300 *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2020* Redid the timing on my 2007 Chrysler 300 2.7L V6 after replacing water pump and timing chain about a nine months ago and replaced the primary timing chain tensioner (this part) as recommended.The part seemed very sturdy and capable. Didn't look or feel cheap at all, but then again I'm no expert mechanic, just a DIY guy who likes to save money by working on my own vehicles, although this entire job is NOT for the faint of heart. Quite advanced and comprehensive repair but doable if you are handy with some tools and knowledgeable on the basics of engine operation and car repair. Should do a lot of research before attempting it and study the repair/service manual (should also keep the owner's manual nearby, too).It's still holding up to this day (as of March 05 2020). Not much else to say; it works and I am greatly satisfied with this purchase, but only time will tell. Will for sure update this review in the event things change.NOTE: After the entire repair job was done, I first made sure to prime the tensioner with oil while it was installed in the vehicle before starting the engine, by using the oil pump. Not completely sure this step was necessary but I chose to do it just in case. Here is how I did it. (These are not instructions for the repair or installation and I am not liable for any damage that may occur to you, your vehicle or anyone or thing as a result of attempting to follow this list of steps I performed. This is for informative purposes only.)0. After proper part installation (Cloyes has a very informative video on youtube about the timing chain and water pump kit replacement on this engine including specs and information for replacing this part) and complete vehicle reassembly, I did not attempt to start the engine yet.1. Made sure to deactivate the ignition system. I did so by pulling two fuses to the ignition system (one in front fuse box for the injectors and ignition coils, and one in rear fuse box for the fuel pump; referenced my owner's manual for which fuses to pull).2. I then cranked the engine for 5 to 10 seconds.3. Reinstalled fuses.4. Crossed fingers and started the engined.5. Voilà!
