When she opened it she loved it and wanted it on, I put it on and the chain broke straight away. On closer inspection it was the little ring on the very end of the chain, that holds the clasp onto the chain that had not been pushed together close enough, so the chain just fell off of it. My husband was able to squeeze it closer so that it is now secure. There are some brown stains on the chain (like when it begins to rust) which let it down a little bit. My daughter loves it though.
