Review: Finally reasonably priced protective shorts that padded my tailbone. - Finally snowboard padded shorts that protect your tailbone. I’ve tried some of these before and they usually didn’t cover the tailbone fully. After having back surgery I needed to reduce the direct impact of falls on my spine. These fit well over my base layer. The pads are comfortable and thick enough to dampen a hit. They could add a more dense or even plastic shield to the outside to disperse the impact more. The shorts have enough stretch to make a good fit. They look a little bulky under my boarding pants. I took the thigh pads out to allow for the best fit under my shorts and pad the area I am most worried about.
Review: Great value & protection - Good fit sized appropriately. Hidden under loose cargo pants " you can't see them" I use these when riding my Onewheel board. They have saved me several times already. Don't get me wrong. I've hit hard enough to bruise even though the padding on my hip bone. I can just imagine how bad it would have been without these padded shorts👍 My only wish is that the hip bone pads were 2 inches wider. The length seems to be correct. I would recommend these padded shorts 👍

A: China... Like everything else.....

**Q: Could there be worn kayaking ? I have a nasty bruise and want to protect the area**
A: I use these for ice skating and are very protective. If you do decide to use this for kayaking hang them up to dry. They do dry overnight or at least for my activity, LOL.

**Q: Can't you make these in a xl and a 2xl version (size 42 waist)? they look awesome!**
A: Tight for 42. No for 2xl

**Q: Are these suppose to have holes within the inside material?? Wore them once then after washed noticed four openings/holes in inside material1? Normal?**
A: Yes there are holes on the inside to insert and remove the foam padding.

Shorts were great as I wasn't expecting to snowboard but I did. I bought this for my boyfriend and I ended up using it instead. The only downside was that I wished that it had more padding on the tailbone but other than that, it saved me from a lot of bruises.
