It said this was the natural honey but the smell was such that I feared it could transfer to the food item. It seemed to work well, despite an incorrect instruction to crinkle it to get it to soften at which point it began to give off "crumbs" or pills, whatever you may call it, so I threw the first one away. The second one I just cleaned off with soap and cold water, and used , and is seems to work really well, in fact, it has stored my cheese so well, the flavor is perfect and not signs of mold or hardened edges. From apples, left over ingredients, or containers we lost the lids for, these beeswax wraps have us covered (pun intended). These are great for everyday use and would also make a great gift.I like the variety of sizes. I tend to only need the small or medium size but I’m sure I’ll end up using them all. It sticks to containers better than cling wrap has ever tried and is easy to mold to fit awkward items I would have thrown in a plastic bag. It’s easy to mold to fit by just warming up quickly in your hands and is easy to rinse off to clean. I thought there’d be an adjustment period to using these but nope.
