These clamps worked well and kept a hold of the tarps even though I had 15 to 20 mile an hour winds. It is important to note that you have to push the slide clamp all the way to its last slot to get it to hold that well.

Very disappointed.  These clips DO NOT hold tarps tight, even in maximum position.  They look nice, but are NOT "Heavy Duty" as claimed.  I did find some other ones since however, which do work very well.  Returned for credit.
